SRCC has developed itself over the years and retains its prestigious position as a TOP College dedicated to Commerce and Economics education in the country. It has upgraded itself with the introduction of a post-graduate, two-year full time programme in Global Business Operations of the University of Delhi in 1999. Admission to SRCC is highly sought after and was among the few colleges in DU that offered B Com course with 100% cutoff percentage. The College has limited accommodation facilities for boys and girl. The college has two separate hostels for boys and girls on the campus itself. There is a big mess and common room in both the hostels. The messes are run on co-operative basis. The college has outsourced on-campus laundry services for the resident students. The resident members also have medical services from the University Health (Medical) Center, located in the vicinity of the college. The on-campus residence of a number of students gives the college fraternity an image of an extended family.
