Scores of GATE Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering will be valid for three years. Earlier the GATE score was valid for a period of two years but with this a candidate can appear for GATE, gain work experience for 2 years and then join M Tech without appearing for it again.

The registration process for GATE 2015 has started and candidates can apply online through Zonal Gate websites of IISc and IITs. The last date to register is 1st October 2014. GATE 2015 online examination will be held from Jan 31st 2015 - Feb 14 2015. The results will be announced in March 2015.

C DAC's Common admission test C-CAT 2015 will be conducted on 7th and 14 dec 2014.C-CAT is conducted for taking admission to Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) program in Geoinformatics, Advanced Computing, Wireless & Mobile Computing, System Software Development, IT Infrastructure, Systems & Security, Embedded Systems Design, VLSI Design, Integrated VLSI & Embedded Systems Design and Automation & SCADA Systems for the session February 2015.

MICA Ahmedabad, has made the admission announcement for its MBA 2015-17 batch. The admission will be based on MICAT, GE and PI. Interested and eligible candidates can apply before 18th Jan 2015.

Notification for CAT 2015 is out and the entrance test for admission to prestigious IIMs and other reputed management institutes will be held on 29th November. The last date to apply is 25th Sep 2015.

MICA will conduct computer based MICAT 2016 on December 20th 2015 in 14 cities. The GE and PI will be conducted in Bangaluru, Delhi Kolkata and Mumbai in Mid January.

The English questions marks in Paper 2 of CSAT 2014 will not be counted and the exam will be held as scheduled on 24th Aug 2014.

UPSC Notification CDS 2015 Ist batch.

UPSC has invited applications for CDS examination 2015 Ist Batch IMA, INA, and Airforce Academy courses commencing in 2016.

For IMA and OTA graduates in any discipline can apply. For INA engineering graduates can apply and for Air force academy graduates with physics and maths at 10+2 or engineering grdautes can apply. Last date to apply is Dec 5th 2014 and the exam will be held on 15th Feb.

Register before 8 sep 2014 for winter school at CEPT university. Many courses on offer ( On CEPT Campus / Workshop Based / Travel Based) and other university students are also eligible to apply.

Tata Institute of Fundamental Research has notified its admissions for 2015. The nation wide entrance test for admission to M Sc Phd, MSc and Integrated PhD programes will be held on Dec 14 2014. The Graduate Programme at TIFR is classified into the following Subjects - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer & Systems Sciences (including Communications and Applied Probability) and Science Education. It is conducted at the Mumbai campus and various National Centres of TIFR. Last date to apply is 30th Sep 2014.

NID has notified Admissions for 2015-16 for its B Design and M Design courses. The test will be held on Jan 11 2015 for B Design and on 10th Jan 2015 for M Design. The last date to receive completed applications is 21st Nov 2014. The M Design course is offered at Main Campus in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bengaluru. Total number of seats is 275.

CBSE has notified the CTET 2015 exam. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET is conducted as eligibility for appointment as teacher for class 1 to class 8. The last date for submission of online applications is 8th Jan 2015. The test will be held on 22nd Feb 2015.
