IDC at IITB offers a course in Visual Design under its Masters Program in Design. (For the program in IITB graduate engineers, architects and graduates in Design are eligible.) 

Sushant School of Design, Gurgaon charges Rs 2,85,000 per year fee. Srishti Institute, Bangalore charges around 2 lakh per year.  The fee per semester at IIT Guwahati for B Design program is around Rs 65,000. 

 NICC Bangalore charges a fee of Rs 2 lakhs per year. 

 NID Ahmedabad take 1.6 lakhper year tuition fee for M Design course and 1.2 lakh per year tuition fee for UG program. 

1. IIT Bombay B Design ( Visual Communication Design) , Master of Design(Visual Communication) . IIT Bombay takes UCEED entrance test for 30 seats in B Design and for M Design students need to appear for CEED.

2. National Institute of Design, Ahmadabad offers B Design with specialization in Film and Video Communication, Animation and Film Design, Graphic Design. The institute also offers PG program also. The institute takes 100 students in its UG course every year through a National entrance test. and takes around 275 students in the PG program per year through national aptitude test.  

3. Delhi Technological University. Delhi offers Bachelor in Design course with specialization in Visual Communication Design, Product Design, Interactive Design. Students from any stream are eligible.There are 60seats in the course. The admission is on the basis of UCEED score.

4. Delhi college of Art, ( Delhi University ) offers 3 years BFA visual communication ( 20 seats) . Admission through entrance test with weightage to class 12th marks.

5. Madras Christian College Chennai ( Affiliated to Madras University) offers 3 year B Sc In visual Communication. The admission is through entrance test and students from all streams are eligible. 

6. Loyola College Chennai, Offers bachelor in Visual Communication. The admission is through enrance test. 

7. St Xaviers college Kolkata offers MSc Multi Media with exit option at 3 years with B Sc. 

8.  St Joseph's College (Autonomous) Bangalore offers BA Visual Communication / B Vocational (Visual Media and Film Making ). The admission is through entrance test and also includes marks for a portfolio.  

9. Srishti School of Design, Bangalore. Professional Diploma Program in Visual Communication Design, Interface and Interaction Design (2 and half years)after 2 year foundation program.

10. Symbiosis University Pune offers bachelor in communication Design 

11. Xaviers Institute of communications, Mumbai. Diploma in Visual Communication Design.

12. Manipal Institute of Technology offers Communication Design at bachelors level. 

13. Sushant School of Design, Ansal University Gurgaon, offers B Design in Visual Communication. 

14.  Maharaja Ranjit Singh Gaekwad Institute of Design, MSU Baroda offers B Design of 4 years Communication Design / Moving Images . Admission on the basis of entrance test, practical test and interview.. There are 50 seats. 

15. National Institute of Creative Communication, Bangalore offers International Diploma in visual arts + B Sc Visual Communication degree ( 4 years ). There are 20 seats and the admissions are through aptitude test, portfolio evaluation and interview. The Institute also offers masters program in Interaction Design / Communication Design / Animation Production.
